My new favorite restaurant!! The Quesa-birria were AMAZING! Very fast service. Don't mistake the posted menu in the restaurant. Their actual menu is extensive! Very good portion sizes. SUPER friendly & welcoming. Authentic Mexican food! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!

Best Mexican restaurant in Eugene. Stopped in for mid-week lunch. Place was surprisingly empty (scary empty), but decided to trust the reviews. Glad we did. Homemade perfection. The chilie relleno was the best I've ever tasted, and I've been tasting them since I was kid in Santa Ana; so, for over 60 years. It wasn't just the pablano though, although it was fresh, meaty, and full of flavor. It was the obviously scratch made ranchera sauce that totally took the dish to a new level. So much flavor! The beans were excellent too. Flavor and texture; nothing beats home made. Simple, but seldom worth mentioning in a restaurant; except in this case. A bowl of their beans and some tortilla chips would be an outstanding shareable. The chicken enchiladas were excellent too. Flavorful, moist, and a large quantity of chicken. But again, it was the sauce - this time green - that really took the flavor train to a new destination. I'm lucky (and glad) my wife let me have a bite. Lastly, the carne assada taco. It too was flavorful. It's preparation was slightly different than what I'm used to. But, I believe in keeping an open mind to what mom & pop's interpretation of a dish is. They didn't miss on their interpretation. There's so many ways to present a taco. They use a dice rather than slice on their beef, and they use - offered and I accepted - pico & guacamole, in addition to the usual suspects of white onions and cilantro and a wedge of lime. The pico and guacamole were flavorful, but overpowered the simple flavor of a great traditional taco. Next time I'll try it less dressed. Great service, clean and friendly atmosphere, excellent flavor, very reasonable prices. I hope the place is packed the next time I come by (in about 2 weeks).

I don't want to give away an amazing place to eat, I really dont want to do this. This might be my new favorite Mexican food place. The pozole is amazing and I can't wait to try everything else. The service was also top notch.

If you haven’t came and tried this place you need to! I only ever want to eat at places where the food is made by people that care and love what they do and you can feel that here. In the service, in the food and in the care for what they do. I want to see this place filled with people because they deserve it. I’m from the bay area and finding good Mexican food hasn’t always been easy in Eugene. los Dos Paquitos has been by far the tastiest I’ve had. I had their quesabirria tacos and enchiladas so far and they both were filled with flavor.

I've been going to this wonderful restaurant every day since they opened last week and am beginning to feel like family. Their food is authentic, made with care, and I always feel welcome when walking through the door. Their horchata and other drinks are made in store and taste excellent. Please give their food and drinks a try next time you're in the area!

My husband and I went for our first time last night and had dinner. Araceli was super sweet, and helped us decide what entrees to choose. My husband had the carne asada nachos and raved about how tender the meat was. I had the chiles rellenos and it was probably the best I’d ever had. Great service and delicious food! I would highly recommend.
